The University of Minnesota presented this summer the final results of the
study of the six herds in California. The production, fertility and calving ease
have been known earlier. Now the lifetime performance was analyzed together
with economics. The results show significant improvement on fertility, survival
and profit when crossbreeding with Montbeliarde and Swedish Red.

• MONTBELIARDE X HOLSTEIN CROSSBRED COWS HAD $1357 (34%) MORE PROFIT
THAN PURE HOLSTEIN COWS DURING THEIR FIRST 4 YEARS OF THEIR LIFETIME!
