In 1998 and 1999 Creative Genetics of California, Inc. searched the world for breeds that would complement the Holstein breed in a crossbreeding scheme. We felt that the Swedish Red breed and the Montbeliarde breed complimented the Holstein very well without sacrificing production. The breeds carry more body condition, better reproduction, and breeding programs that would continue to support breed improvement.

All of the bulls are available through Creative Genetics of California, Inc. and Select Sires exclusively. Select Sires after a long search worldwide, came to Creative Genetics of California, Inc. asking to become distributors for the Swedish Red and Montbeliarde breeds.They felt the Swedish Red and Montbeliarde were outstanding breeds and had terrific research programs. Select Sires is the largest distributor of semen in the USA, and there for Creative Genetics of California, Inc. was honored to form a long term working relationship with them.

In the USA, Select Sires distributes Swedish Red, Montbeliarde, and now added the Red Dane.
